Work on Old Madison Pike bridge to impact traffic

Weather permitting, deck construction on the Old Madison Pike bridge at Research Park Boulevard will begin Sunday, Dec. 19. Drivers can expect the following temporary lane closures and traffic interruptions:

• 8-11 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19 – Southbound traffic on Research Park Boulevard will be reduced to a single lane.
• 11 p.m. Sunday to 5:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20 – Both southbound lanes of Research Park Boulevard will be intermittently closed.
• 8-11 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20 – Northbound traffic on Research Park Boulevard will be reduced to a single lane.
• 11 p.m. Monday to 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 – Both northbound lanes will be intermittently closed.

Drivers should use caution in the area or take alternative routes.
