Person of Interest In Missing Person Case – Sharon Michelle “Hardee”

Huntsville Police is asking for the public’s help in locating a white male Charles Preston DOB: 11-16-1990 a.k.a. “Shorty”. He is being sought for questioning in the disappearance of 49 year old Sharon Michelle Copeland.
Copeland was originally reported as a missing person by HPD and last seen June 30th, 2020 in the area of Ivey Ave. In that report her last name was given as “Hardee”. On July 27th Investigators were lead to a location in Tennessee where human remains had been discovered and believed to be Copeland. Those remains have now been positively identified as Sharon Michelle Copeland. At this time, Investigators have enough information to know that her death occurred in Huntsville but more work is needed to determine exact cause of death.
