City Council – Highlights from the February 8, 2018 Meeting
February 9, 2018MidCity The City Council approved an agreement with High Point Huntsville LLC for the company to lease a 6,500-square foot parcel at MidCity. The City has maintained 38 acres of the development for a park designated for unique recreational uses, including a climbing wall. High Point will maintain the climbing wall and assume liability. February 5, 2018The Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force initiated an investigation that yielded two arrests on Friday Feb 2nd. The two offenders are Bertario Navarrette Santana, 33, of Norcross GA and Jose Eduardo Jimenez-Sanchez, 27, of Yucaipa California. After a month-long investigation, agents with the Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force (STAC) identified the two Hispanic males from the Madison-Morgan County area believed to be trafficking large amounts of methamphetamine “Ice.” [more]
